Bricks completed

The bricking has completed. The piers are up and our windows have had the bricks added to the sills.

Bricks almost completed

Visited today to see that all that is left to be bricked is the porch. If we're lucky we could have a house that can resist the elements by end of this week.

Another wall bricked

Our back wall has almost been entirely bricked and progress has been made on our other side wall. Should be fully bricked by Friday at this rate. Exciting! :-)

We also received our first water bill today (not really that exciting).

Brickwork continues

Almost one side completed. 

Bricks have arrived!

Finally our bricks have arrived on site and the garage side wall has begun. Now for it not to rain so we can have a fully bricked house by mid next week.

We have a roof

Had a nice surprise when we visited our home today. Definitely weren't expecting roof tiles to be up already. Starting to look more like a house now. :)

Early January update

Just to provide an update, our bricks have been delayed as they need to get made and inspected. We're hopefully getting them mid-January, but our site supervisor (who has been great) has mentioned that he may try get our roof tiles done first so something is actually happening. Here's hoping! :)
